Seeblick in Titisee-Neustadt

Unfriendly staff, we were urged to leave quickly, they wanted to cash in quickly and we couldn't enjoy the food.

Very tasty cakes and hot dishes, super friendly staff!

We wanted to have a coffee yesterday around 5pm. By chance we entered the lake for the first time in a long time. The former plush has given way to the cold of a train station waiting room. Icy light from above, table treated like an oil film with a damp layer of disinfectant. The first waitress was at least very nice and friendly. But then came a lady who would do well as a sergeant. She briskly told my husband to sit up straight. He sat in the empty restaurant at an angle to stretch his legs because of knee pain. We have never heard such a sound in a restaurant. Then we had to put all three of us on the list. Well, I guess it's destiny. But the nature of the call bordered on the military. The coffee was not really good and at a price almost like in Switzerland, where a different quality would be common. Maybe that's a matter of taste. In Switzerland people drink Italian coffee, in Germany they often drink German filter coffee. But the tone of the waitress was an absolute no go.

I had an Italian burger and a side salad. The burger was very tasty, the meat cooked to the point. Definitely suitable as a main meal, the burger is a decent size. The side salad is also plentiful. The tarte flambée also look very good. Service was nice and quick. The ambience is simple and modern, whoever expects chi-chi is out of place. But the price level is comparatively good. Big burger for 13 Eur and side salad for 6 Eur is totally okay if I pay somewhere else in Titisee for frozen schnitzel with filthy fries> 20 Eur.

We really enjoyed our visit to Cafe Seeblick. I cannot understand why some guests speak of the canteen atmosphere or the tourist trap. We had i.a. Burger, chocolate cake, spaetzle with sauce as well as onion cake and new wine. Food and drinks were very good. We were served friendly and quickly. Hygiene regulations are also implemented. Nice lake view. Happy to see you next time.

The location is very nice, but in this weather we could only sit inside. Unfortunately, the atmosphere there is more like a canteen. The prices are really steep for the quality, and that a change in the side dish is estimated at 2 euros, I've never seen anywhere.

Just awarded the three stars! Service was halfway okay, friendliness should be very important in service. Food was good. But be careful: we exchanged the fries shown on the menu for fried potatoes. The statement of the service: "This is a change in the menu and costs 2 euros per person"! So, we go out to eat very often at home and abroad, we've never seen anything like it! The prices of the menus are pretty high for the small selection, but apparently you want to earn with all your might ?! And why does the paying guest not get an invoice? Every baker, butcher ... is obliged to hand them over. Never again this restaurant ........

7 people ate there today. Unfortunately 7 times unsatisfied. Nice location, unfortunately an almost unbearable noise from the ferris wheel next door. Burgers were quite good, but fries and potato wedges with them tasted kind of weird. Pizza wasn't good and had a strange, almost burnt taste too.

Delicious fresh cakes and a nice terrace to sit on. The waitress was very friendly and was able to tell us straight away all the cakes and tarts that are on offer.

Nice view of the lake, but the food is not recommended. Mushroom creamed schnitzel with canned mushrooms, sauce from a bag and spaetzle from the supermarket. Everything ready to eat - absolute letdown for 20 euros! Staff friendly, but for the last day of your vacation in such a beautiful place an absolute letdown .....

Never eaten such delicious cheese spaetzle! Ice cream and cakes are homemade and the service is quick and very friendly ... And a view of the Titisee included!

Nothing to complain about. The staff is really very friendly and happy to implement special requests. We didn't have to wait long. And the food is delicious too.

Good Beef Burger!

The Black Forest cake was very tasty but the service wasn't good at all. When we were waiting for a table, the waitress first served a family that was jostling. We also waited about half an hour for the bill. Only one waitress wore her mask over her mouth and nose.

The food was very good, both the hamburger and the veal steak. The price was high, as in many places where there is a lot of tourism. The problem we found when we tried to change the garnish of the steak, which was a fresh German pasta (Spätzle), for another garnish, because the person was celiac and they wanted to charge us two euros for the change. Honestly it was not for the two euros, since the steak cost € 24.5, it was for principles.

Very tasty pizza and great value. Service was also very friendly. Gladly again!

We just left and we were surprised by the way how the the Waiter was not nice to the costumers. Even if she was having a bad day it’s not an excuse for what we just have seen. Food was acceptable.

I'm sorry to have to put such a bad score but the fact that you charge € 0.15 for bringing an extra cover (for example if you want to share a piece of cake) I find it unfortunate and take advantage of the clientele. The woman who has served us has been very close to telling me that the extra fork had a price. The Black Forest cake is very good

Mediocrity at max. Service people weren’t very nice, but food was okay. Overall experience not to good. Sorry can’t recommend.

Great cakes from our own production, delicious and really recommendable. The food is really delicious. Value for money is okay. The lemonade spritzer are also really delicious. I'll definitely be back 😉

I think it really depends. Personally I was served by one staff member who was very attentive, but others seemed to be less motivated. Generally I think you could give this place a try, but it does seem to have potential to improve its service.

Very rude service, arrogant waitress. I have lived in Germany for 5 years and visited a lot of places. I have never been charged for extra folks. This is ridiculous.

First of all, in a tourist location like this, a restaurant cannot close at 8pm, and the waiters pressed us a bit at the end to make us leave. Turning to food; the pizza and the meat were not bad, just the meat was a little overcooked, totally overcooked pasta and tasteless and the roast beef similar. Fish as in all restaurants near hinterzarten and Freiburg is never noteworthy and often expensive too.

We were charged for extra fork (for cake). That could have been acceptable if I was simply told that it was house policy..but no, the waitress lectured us that "in Germany people eat from their own plates and that they don't share". That was embarrassing. The cake was average and over-priced..on top of it, such remarks.

You're not allowed to order an indivudual dish of French fries here unless you're under the age of 12. Explanation: "We're not a takeaway. We're a restaurant." When my mom spoke to the chef about this incredibly dumb rule he got furious and yelled at her.

The cake is good, but the waiter was not very friendly...

Incredibly rude service, the server yelled at my mother for putting our water bottle on the table (there were no signs that outside food or drinks aren't allowed) within moments of our entering. The food was bland, and the ravioli was clearly reheated and rubbery. Cake was doused in rum but still didn't taste moist or fresh.
